68 Bentham journals now have Impact Factors

TThe 2022 JCR report has been published by Clarivate, and 27 Bentham Science journals are included within it for the first time. This brings the total Impact Factor journals for Bentham Science to 68. The new journals include Current Radiopharmaceuticals and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, 3 Open Access medical journals from Bentham Open are included in the report.

Updated Cite Scores

For 2022, Bentham Science Publishers have recorded a considerable increase in Cite Scores. 105 hybrid journals and 29 open access journals have recorded noteworthy Cite Scores after being indexed in Scopus.

Current Neuropharmacology, recorded a Cite Score of 9.4, and Current Medicinal Chemistry recorded a Cite Score of 8.7. You can find the updated scores on the journal website.

New Editors-in-Chief

2 journals will be under new leadership.

Prof. Fabio Coppedè is the new Editor for Current Genomics. He is a tenured professor at the University of Pisa, Italy, and is the Director of the Interdepartmental Research Center of Biology and Pathology of Aging. Prof. Coppedè's research focuses on unraveling the complex genetic and epigenetic factors influencing diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, aging, cancer, autoimmune diseases, and Down syndrome. We express our deepest gratitude to his predecessor in this role, Professor Christian Neri, Research Director at INSERM, for his exceptional contributions. Throughout his remarkable 14-year tenure with Bentham Science, Professor Neri's extensive experience and guidance have been instrumental in shaping the success of the journal.

Prof. Dr. Marta Litter is the new Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Photocatalysis. She is a senior researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and a professor and consultant at the University of General San Martín, Argentina. Prof. Dr. Litter brings a wealth of expertise and a distinguished career in the field of chemistry to her new role. She obtained her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1974, with a post doctorate experience at the University of Arizona, USA in 1983. Throughout her career, Prof. Dr. Litter has focused on innovative advanced technologies for the treatment of pollutants in water and air, with a particular emphasis on heterogeneous photocatalysis and the use of iron-based nanomaterials.
