New Editors-in-Chief

Robert P. Hoffman, Editor-in-Chief, Current Diabetes Reviews

Robert P. Hoffman, MD, joins Current Diabetes Reviews as the Editor-in-Chief. Dr. Hoffman is a member of the Section of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Nationwide Children's Hospital and a professor of pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His inclusion brings a fresh perspective to our premier diabetes review journal.

Dr. Hoffman's research interests include hypoglycemia in Type 1 diabetes, insulin resistance, endothelial function, growth disorders and puberty. He is also an active educator these subjects, regionally and internationally. He is a member of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Thyroid Cancer Program and is recognized as one of the top American physicians in pediatric endocrinology.

Dr. Guido Grassi, Editor in-Chief, Current Hypertension Reviews

Dr. Guido Grassi, a renowned expert in hypertension, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Current Hypertension Reviews. He serves as Full Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Milano-Bicocca and directs the Clinica Medica Institute at S. Gerardo Hospital in Monza/Milano, Italy.

With an extensive background including roles in the European Society of Cardiology and Italian Society of Hypertension, Prof. Grassi has significantly contributed to hypertension research and guidelines. He has authored over 500 scientific papers and holds editorial positions in several prestigious journals. Dr. Grassi's expertise will undoubtedly enhance the journal's impact in the field of hypertension research.

Dr. Durval C. Kraychete, Editor-in-Chief, The Open Pain Journal

Dr. Durval C. Kraychete has been appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief for the Open Pain Journal. An esteemed anesthesiologist based in Brazil, Dr. Kraychete brings a wealth of expertise to the role. He serves in the Department of Anesthesiology and Surgery at the Universidade Federal da Bahia in Salvador, Brazil, and is also affiliated with the Americas Health Foundation.

Dr. Kraychete's extensive interests lie in various facets of pain management, including musculoskeletal disorders, low back pain, fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndromes, myofascial pain, and neuropathic pain. His commitment to advancing the field of pain management and improving patient care makes him a valuable addition to the Open Pain Journal. With his leadership, the journal aims to continue its mission of disseminating high-quality research and fostering advancements in pain management practices globally.
