Bentham Science Publishers is pleased to announce that MicroRNA has now been awarded an Impact Factor ranking by Clarivate Analytics. The journal - currently edited by Dr. Alberto Izzoti (University of Genoa) – has been providing readers with cutting-edge research on the molecular biology and therapeutic applications of MicroRNAs. Bentham Science Wishes to congratulate all journal contributors, including editors, authors and staff involved with the journal since its inception.

Impact Factor Update: With MicroRNA’s addition to the Impact Factor list, 67 journals now have this distinction. Current Neuropharmacology continues to lead the list with a rating of 5.3 for 2024, followed by Recent Patents on Anti-Cancer Drug Discovery (4.1) and Current Medicinal Chemistry (3.5). Bentham Science is committed to publishing impactful research in the years to come.

$0 APC Publishing Opportunities for Researchers Across Select Global Institutions

Bentham Science is pleased to announce multiple Open Access publishing opportunities for researchers affiliated with select universities and research institutions across Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America. Under these agreements and pilot programs, eligible authors can publish their research as Gold Open Access with a full Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver (i.e., $0 APC)—subject to standard peer review and editorial acceptance.

These initiatives aim to broaden access to high-quality scientific publishing and support researchers by removing financial barriers to Open Access publication.

Japan

Researchers from over 100 participating institutions are eligible under the national Open Access Publishing Trial. Learn more.

Chile

Eligible for all institutions under the CINCEL Consortium.
Trial ends: 31st December 2025

Armenia

All national research institutions and universities are included.
Trial ends: 31st December 2025

Moldova

Open to researchers from all Moldovan institutions.

Cyprus

Researchers from all academic and research institutions in Cyprus are eligible.

China

Researchers affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences may publish at $0 APC.

Read & Publish Agreements

In addition to the Open Access trials, Bentham Science has signed Read and Publish agreements with several leading institutions in the United States and Italy. Authors affiliated with the following universities can publish Gold Open Access articles in Bentham Science journals without any APC:

Bentham Science Editor-in-Chief Dr. Kenneth Blum Appointed Honorary President of Global Institute for Preventive Medicine and Longevity (GIPML)

Bentham Science Publishers proudly congratulates Dr. Kenneth Blum, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Current Psychopharmacology, on his appointment as Honorary President of the newly formed Global Institute for Preventive Medicine and Longevity (GIPML).

The announcement comes from Ariel University (Israel), which is establishing GIPML as a forward-thinking international research institute focused on personalized and preventive medicine, stress and community resilience, and healthy living and longevity promotion. The institute will connect leading scientists from the United States, Israel, and Europe to advance multidisciplinary solutions in healthcare and aging.
